The iRacing community is about to experience something special! We are excited to announce the Inaugural Portland Virtual Grand Prix, a thrilling 30-lap showdown at Portland International Raceway. This race will feature the all-new ARCA Menards Series car on iRacing, bringing a whole new level of excitement to the virtual world of racing.
With nothing but cash on the line for the winner ($500), we are almost certain that the on-track action will be intense as 35 drivers battle it out for the top spot. Expect an array of talent to be on display as drivers from both The NW Region and NASCAR will go head-to-head on the famous 2-mile circuit.
This event was created in collaboration between the track, Portland International Raceway, ARCA Series Driver, Eric Johnson Jr. & his partners. We owe a big thank you to Pacific Office Automation, Sherwin Williams, Paul Davis Restoration, Key Property Services Inc, Valleyscapes Landscaping Solutions, and Product 41 for making this event possible.
Our hope with this race is to give NW racers an opportunity to promote themselves while competing against current NASCAR Drivers and testing their skills against the best. We brought this idea to life after the famous track was recently added as an official track on the iRacing platform.
