A couple of weeks ago at Tucson Speedway, Eric Johnson Jr. delivered a strong performance in the ARCA Menards Series West race, bringing home an impressive third-place finish for Jerry Pitts Racing.

Piloting the No. 5 Toyota, Johnson Jr. showed steady pace and composure throughout the event. After starting mid-pack, he methodically saved his tires for the majority of the race before working his way forward, avoiding trouble and capitalizing on key moments as the race unfolded. His consistency over long green-flag runs proved to be a difference-maker, allowing him to stay within striking distance of the front runners.

As the laps wound down, Johnson Jr. held his ground in a competitive field, fending off challenges from behind while maintaining pressure on the leaders. The podium finish marks another solid result for the team and continues to build momentum as the season progresses.

Following the race, Johnson Jr. credited the crew at Jerry Pitts Racing for providing a strong, reliable car and emphasized the importance of staying patient throughout the night. With this result, the No. 5 team continues to show they have the speed and determination to contend at every stop on the schedule.

The third-place finish at Tucson Speedway stands as a testament to the team’s hard work and Johnson Jr.’s growing confidence behind the wheel, setting the stage for even stronger performances in the races ahead. Stay tuned as Eric and the team continue through this season ahead.
